Rob Kalaf

Rob Kalaf is Head of Prime Services at A.G.P. / Alliance Global Partners, where he is focused on delivering a boutique, technology-driven platform for institutional clients. In this role, he is in charge of the sales, trading, and client services blueprint to drive new business development while ensuring the team collaborates seamlessly to deliver a best-in-class client experience. Throughout his career, Rob has built a reputation for cultivating deep, lasting relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners, becoming a trusted advisor to start-up hedge funds navigating their launch and vendor selection. Prior to joining A.G.P, Rob was COO and Head of Prime Services at Velocity Clearing, LLC, where he oversaw the firm’s prime brokerage, client services, and onboarding functions, while working closely with the Credit and Risk Committee to streamline the client approval process. Earlier in his career, Rob held prime brokerage roles at Jefferies and Weeden Prime Services. He has experience in both self-clearing and introduced prime brokerage models. Across every stage of his career, Rob has combined deep operational expertise with a client-first, relationship-driven approach. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Scranton’s Kania School of Management, and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
