Mr. Carlson has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, specializing in high growth emerging sectors such as Life Sciences, Technology, Consumer Products, Natural Resources and Industrials. Prior to leading the Life Sciences and Technology groups at ATB Capital Markets, Mr. Carlson was Co-Head of Institutional Sales & Trading cultivating impactful relationships with major credit and equity investors. In the last 5 years, Mr. Carlson has been the lead investment banker on over $2bn of capital raises across all financing structures in addition to closing many complex M&A transactions within regulated markets. Mr. Carlson has significant U.S. and International experience through several years at Credit Suisse in London, UK while holding both an HBA and an MBA through the Ivey Business School at Western University.
